By using our website you agree to abide by all applicable laws, including local, state, national and international laws and regulation. Designs, layout, artwork and other specifications provided on the Website are the exclusive property of Tara Book Company. You are solely responsible for all acts or omissions that occur under your usage, including the content of your transmissions through the Website. Reproduction of any material on the website is prohibited. No part of this website may be copied, reproduced, transmitted, duplicated, sold or resold, for commercial or personal use without our express permission. This includes data mining and web scraping.

Laws

The terms of use shall be governed by and construed fully in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ireland. If any provision(s) of the terms of use is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, then such provision(s) shall be construed, as nearly as possible, to reflect the intentions of the parties with the other provisions remaining in full force and effect.

Pricing and Availability

We give detailed information on products listed for sale, including price and delivery costs. The cost of delivery is calculated according to location. There may be a customs charge or import duty implication in certain countries. Such additional costs are borne by you, the customer.
Occasionally a product is mispriced, or has some misinformation, we will contact you to advise you if we find there is a discrepancy, before we send out the order. You have the choice to cancel or to go ahead.

Fulfilment

When you place an order with tarabookco.ie you will receive an email confirming order details. Your order should be shipped in a matter of days and should be with you within 5 working days. In the event of a delay we will advise you.

If online deliveries are delayed due to COVID-19?

COVID-19 could impact our ability to meet agreed delivery timescales. This could mean that you may experience delays or even non-delivery.

If your order is not delivered within the agreed timeframe you have the following options:

You can agree a new delivery date that suits you where this is appropriate in your circumstances.
Where it is not appropriate to agree a new delivery date in your circumstances or if we are unable to deliver the goods, you can cancel the contract and get a full refund.

Payment Processing

Online payments are processed through our secure Stripe facility, including credit card, debit card and Paypal. We require a billing address, and a delivery address if different. An email address and a telephone number are required for courier delivery.

Change of mind: Once you receive your order you are allowed 14 days to change your mind, you can cancel your order and get a refund of the product cost. We will reimburse you the product cost using the same method as the initial payment but you must bear the initial delivery cost. The 14 days starts from the date you receive your order. You will have to bear the cost of returning the goods, unless the goods are faulty.

Returns: If you cancel your order, please advise us in writing by email to sales@tarabookco.ie You have a further 14 days from the date you cancel to return the order.

Personalised goods
Digital products that have been played or used.

Refunds

We will hold your refund until the goods have been sent back, in the condition they were sent out in.

Diminished value

If you want to cancel your order and return goods, you are responsible for taking care of them until they are returned. If you don’t you may have to pay for diminished value. This means that if the goods are damaged or lose value as a result of you handling them beyond what is necessary to check the features, functionality, characteristics, fit etc, you may have to pay for part or the full cost of the item.

Sale items

Even if the item is on sale you still have 14 days to change your mind and cancel the order.

Clear and accurate information:

We give you (our customer) clear and accurate information about the total cost of what you are buying, including delivery, Vat where applicable, when you buy online.

Promotions, Discounts and Competitions

Discount codes can only be used in conjunction with the offer listed.
All promotions, competitions and discounts are time limited.
Discount offers do not include delivery costs.
In the event of return of a discounted item only the amount paid will be refunded.
Competition prizes cannot be exchanged for different products.

Gift Vouchers

Tara Book Co Gift Vouchers will have an issue/payment date, expiry date is valid for five years.
You do not have to spend the full value of the voucher in one transaction,
We will issue a voucher for the balance, which can be used at a later date:
Maintenance Fees do not apply to Tara Book Co vouchers.
Lost vouchers – we are not obliged to replace lost vouchers but if we find that it is unused according to out records we will replace it.
